Rochester & Winona Auto Repair

Four of us ladies returning to Rochester had car trouble just before leaving Winona. My van was stuck in 2nd gear so I pulled into a local business who recommended Joe's. Kyle and Kyle (our heroes) evaluated the problem on the spot, on a late Friday afternoon when they were busy and due to leave soon. They obtained a new part needed and installed it immediately. The repair bill was more than reasonable. We were only there a little over an hour and on our way! A big THANK YOU to both Kyles - you are valuable employees indeed!!

Went into Joe's for what I thought was a routine alignment and possible change of tires. The mechanics at Joe's first did an inspection of the car; upon inspection they found that not only had both of my passenger side brakes seized, but that my CV boot was torn, my subframe was heavily rusted, and that my rear differential didn't have the proper fluid in it. They took pictures of all of these problem areas on my car; which is something I've never seen a shop do. Not only is it a unique tool, but it's a great tool to gain customer trust. I was hesitant about getting my brakes done, mainly because of the time it would take and the cost of it all. However, Kyle reassured me that they could have my brakes replaced and my car back to me the same day. Upon receiving my car back, the next day I found that my e-brake wouldn't engage properly. So, I brought my car back into Joe's that same day; Kyle quickly and courteously jumped on the problem, got my car on a lift and out of the shop in 15 mins with the e-brake fixed! The front staff, especially Kyle, at Joe's are top notch and strive to make sure the customer is satisfied!

Exceeded expectations, with price, customer service, trust, and turnaround time. After living in Winona nearly all my life, I've finally found my go-to mechanic: Joe's. I first came to Joe's out of necessity after having a blowout near Rochester on I-90 late on a Friday afternoon, and Joe's in Rochester had the availability to tow and repair my car that afternoon. Having seen ads in the Winona Daily News, I knew I could do any follow-up service in Winona so I went with Joe's, skeptically at first. Service and quality at both locations was fantastic. The Winona Joe's followed through with the work done in Rochester -- free of charge. And Kyle's genuine customer service won me over enough to give Joe's another shot the next time my 2011 CRV needed work "Next time" came today. The charges for transmission fluid exchange, rear differential fluid exchange and cabin filter replacement were lower than expected. My car is humming and my wallet didn't take a hit. Kyle was friendly, sincere and helpful. Joe's also is in the practice of emailing inspection reports about your vehicle, including a detailed and transparent description plus a photo! So you can finally see with your own eyes what a mechanic is suggesting needs fixing. This removes the blind trust often required in mechanical car repairs. Seeing photos of my car's inner workings, I felt confident that the repairs suggested were legitimate -- as I could see with my own eyes. I'm happy I discovered Joe's and am grateful to have found a mechanic I can trust who is fair-priced and thorough.

Kyle the manager and Kyle the mechanic were great. We have a 96 pickup that needed some work and they figured out how to get the job done for the least price and longest lasting value. They really cared and are nice hard working guys.

Great service and informative, I am working in the area from out of state and my truck wouldn't start. So after calling a couple other service places and getting NO results or being the weekend no one is open. Well long story short I called Joes early Monday morning and my truck was towed, I was informed of repairs needed and cost and had my truck back before closing at 6:00 pm. I recommend Joes Auto &Tire if in Winona are highly for repairs 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Joe's has been my go-to repair shop for a little over a year now...they are fantastic in every aspect and I refuse to take my car anywhere else, even after moving to Minneapolis. They have extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Kyle is usually who you will be speaking to if you call or walk in, and he's a great guy who will lay everything out for you in detail and explain what your options are. Bri (I hope I'm spelling her name right) is also really friendly and down to earth, and makes for great conversation during the free shuttle ride to pick back up your vehicle after its repairs are done. Did I also mention they do free (and thorough) inspections? All problems found in your vehicle will be emailed to you in an easy to read form that arranges any problems based on how urgent they are...these people have saved my ass countless times, and somehow still put up with me when I oversleep, or change an appointment last minute.
